Fashion | Navy and Nude

Navy and Nude. This colour combination is a winner. If it's done correctly. Read more to discover my tips and tricks for stepping into Spring in the perfect outfit that turns heads…

A pair of Nude Courts, my first pair of Nude Courts. I wobbled about on those cobbles, my heel got stuck in a hole and my toes were hurting like hell. I am now currently slouched on my sofa with my feet up and sipping a nice Mocha!

Nude and Navy. Two completely different colours that you wouldn't usually team up but I believe that it looks incredible. Here are the photos to prove it. Not only does the contrast catch peoples eyes but it looks incredibly chic and elegant. The dark colour slims while the light colour adds a 'lady-like-ness'.

The dress is a Dorothy Perkins number and only £10 in their Mid-Season Sale! I was astounded when the cashier asked for only £10!! It is super comfy and flattering. I never usually go for Navy Blue, but this dress was calling my name so I just had to get it!

My Nude Courts!!! I'd wanted a pair of 'proper heels' for ages but was too scared to purchase some that I might never really wear. Yeah, they take a little bit of getting used to but they are super chic, comfy(ish) and so elegant. They make me feel quite feminine and floaty. I purchased these from BHS in Nude and Black for £20 each. (RRP £25).

The coat is a suede vintage River Island number that I purchased from eBay last October. It's super flattering buuuuuuut makes my bum look bigger. My bum is massive and I really hate it. When I do this coat up it makes my bum look even more massive than it already is. How annoying. But yeah, I love this coat (undone of course) and I will keep it for many, many years. I love it!
