Galentine's Day with Cake Angels

I was challenged by Cake Angels to create four bakes for Galentine's Day. As it's 100 years since women won the right to vote and 2018 is practically the year of the woman, why the hell shouldn't us girls celebrate each other, whether we're single or not? Cake Angels asked me to create, bake and dedicate four different bakes to four girls that inspire me daily...

The first bake is this stunning giant heart-shaped cookie! I dedicated this cookie to my stunning cousin, Rachael. Rachael is a fantastic mummy to her three gorgeous children, she runs her own business 'MyStitchCraft' and she also suffers with Alopecia Universalis and is trying to raise awareness of this across her social media platforms. With inspiring posts and real accounts of what it's like to have this awful condition, Rachael is inspiring others to not let alopecia rule their lives.  I'm in awe of Rachael's strength and determination. I can't imagine how it must feel to suffer with Alopecia Universalis, but Rachael is strong, beautiful and inspiring so many people. I think it's amazing that she's so positive, and she honestly inspires me each and every day! Read Rachael's story here and be sure to follow her on Instagram, YouTube and her blog, My Alopecia Life

To decorate the giant heart-shaped cookie, I used the Cake Angels Pink & Red Royal Icing Roses (£1.75).

The second bake was a double chocolate cake. I dedicated this scrumptious delight to my wonderful mummy! My mum is AMAZING. She's brought me up single handedly all of my life, she's strong, she's beautiful and she's the kindest, most funniest person I know. All of my life it's been me and her and I would't have it any other way. She's brought me up to be the best person I can be and I'm who I am thanks to her. She's my very best friend and I don't know what I'd do without her.

To decorate this gorgeous cake, I used the following decorations from Cake Angels. I used their Pink Pearl Swirls (£1.75), green sprinkles from their Bloomin' Lovely Sprinkles (£2.00) and Rainbow Sprinkles (£1.90).

The next bake was a delightful vanilla and raspberry sponge cake! I dedicated this gorgeous bake to my best friend, Noemin. Noemin and I have been best friends since we met on the very first day of High School. We've shared so many memories together and she's the loveliest person I have ever met. I sadly moved area in 2013, which caused us to lose touch a little and become a little detached. But last spring we got back in touch and it was like nothing ever changed! Almost a year has passed since we got back in touch and since then we've had countless phonecalls, a million and one text messages have been sent between us and we know all there is to know about each other. I wanted to dedicate this bake to Noemin because she's inspiring, gorgeous, bloody hilarious and always cheers me up. She knows me more than I do and I can't wait to see her in the summer.

For Noemin's bright and vibrant cake I used the following decorations from Cake Angels. I used the Cake Art in Floral (£3.99) to wrap around the base of the cake. I used the Pink and Red Roses (£1.75) to decorate the top of the cake. And I used Rhubarb and Custard Sprinkles (£1.50) for the centre.

And then because I'm sassy AF, I decided to dedicate a bake to myself. Because WHY NOT!? I am the most inspiring person in my life. I'm the only person I can truly, wholly rely on and I'm bloody amazing! I decided to dedicate these stunning Cream Biscuit Sandwiches to myself.

I decorated the biscuits with Cake Angels' Pink and Red Roses (£1.75).

I really hope you liked these gorgeous bakes that I created with the help of my amazing mother and of course, Cake Angels

Which is your favourite!? Let me know in the comments below...
