An introduction to Walden Natural Perfumes

Walden Natural Perfumes is a new and innovative 100% natural perfume company. Creating the most simplistic and wholly natural perfumes using the finest natural absolutes, resins and essential oils, Walden Perfumes are set to be the next big brand in the natural beauty world. Named after Henry David Thoreau's seminal work, Walden - the book which is part meditation and part handbook for simple living in natural surroundings has inspired thousands of readers.

With five high-quality and opulent fragrances, Walden Natural Perfumes are getting off to a great start. The five fragrances are named: A Little Star-Dust; The Solid Earth; Castles in the Air; A Different Drummer and Two Eternities.

The bottles look absolutely stunning, natural and highly simplistic - with chunky glass, simple label and chunky wooden lid, these fragrances encapsulate the vibe that is received from Walden. The perfumes are made and produced in small batches, which means they are made to the highest quality imaginable. Retailing at around £40 to £60 for 50ml, these fragrances are affordable for opulent fragrance lovers.

I actually took part in the initial scent testing/smelling stage and was sent a selection of different scents to try out and feedback to the company. As a result I was sent these two gorgeous fragrances from the company to review on my blog in an objective and honest review. Being a part of the initial testing stage was so amazing and such an incredible experience and to see the fragrances in their full complete form upon release is truly exciting and wonderful too.

The two fragrances I was sent are as follows: A Little Star-Dust and The Solid Earth. Both of these fragrances are earthy, natural, opulent and not too overpowering. A Little Star Dust is described as a "sumptuous bouquet of Ylang Ylang, Iris, Jasmine, Amyris and Tonka Bean". The fragrance lasts all day, doesn't wear off easily and smells very delicate - just like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers. When first applied it can be a little heady and strong, but soon sinks into your skin it transforms into a natural scent that smells classy, light and natural. A Little Star-Dust was a finalist in the Natural and Organic Awards Europe 2017. The Solid Earth is a very different fragrance which is described as "Citrusy fresh with Petitgrain, a heart of Vetiver, Light Patchouli and creamy Amyris". Slightly more understated than A Little Star-Dust, The Solid Earth is earthy, natural and floriental - a beautiful combination of an oriental scent with slight undertones of floral accents.

I adore both of these fragrances, they're simply divine and I look forward to wearing each time that I do. I'm so grateful to have been a part of the initial testing process and I'm so pleased with how each of the fragrances turned out. Well done, Walden Natural Perfumes, these fragrances are simply exquisite..
