Beauty | Morphe 35T Palette Review and Swatches

Sunday 8 May 2016

If you're looking for a buttery textured, highly pigmented, gorgeously glamorous and versatile eyeshadow palette, look no further; this palette is definitely for you..

After around 4 months of 'umm-ing' and 'ahh-ing' about purchasing a high quality and decent eyeshadow palette, I finally did. I had wanted to get a good quality palette for a good few months, but the hefty price tags put me off everytime. I don't think that the Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills or Tarte palettes are overpriced but I wasn't looking for a super expensive one as my first decent one, so I decided to get this gorgeous Queen of all palettes, that is HIGHLY commended by many very talented MUA's. Everyone please be upstanding for Queen Morphe 35T.

The Morphe 35T (35 shades of Taupe) palette, is the most gorgeous palette I have ever set my eyes on. A palette that is full to the brim of gorgeous buttery pans of highly pigmented eyeshadows, from smooth mattes, buttery satins and mega pigmented shimmery metallics, this palette is the perfect versatile palette that will see you through every season and will team with every outfit too. I was a little dubious when I first saw it in the flesh, as it all looks slightly deep and quite different from the pictures online, but once swatched and then applied to my lids, OH MY GOSH asdfghjkl.

JUST. LOOK. AT. THOSE. SWATCHES.

I swatched my most favourite shades from this dreamy palette, as these shades alone, sell the palette so so well. I do adore EVERY single shade from this palette though and I am overjoyed that I finally took the plunge and decided to buy this highly commended palette. This palette has definitely encouraged me to buy more professional and more pricey palettes, I know have my eyes set on a couple more Morphe palettes, a few Urban Decay palettes and a MAC palette too, this palette has fuelled my addiction even more than before, if that is even possible!? I honestly think that this palette is incredible and I can't recommend it enough. It's perfect if you are adding to your kit, collection or even as a first 'professional/pricey' palette.

My favourite shades from this palette have to be the two top pans on the left hand side of the palette - in the images and in real life, these shades look quite light and beige, but once applied to the eyelid they are a gorgeous mauve-y, lilac-y, taupe - WHICH I ADORE!!!! I use the matte shade for transitioning and the metallic/shimmer for packing.

Don't be put off by the darker shades that feature on the bottom row, these shades are perfect for transitioning/crease - I adore the purple and brick toned matte shades, as they are super buttery and pigmented - they also last for the majority of the day too, which is a plus! This palette features everything from shimmers, mattes, duo-chromes, metallics and highly pigmented glittery shades. As you can probably tell; I could ramble on for hours about this palette, it's just perfect, flawless and wjdfhjkhdfjkh!

As you can see from the swatches above, the metallic shades are far more pigmented compared to the mattes, but bear in mind that these swatches are done with a single swipe from the pan straight to my arm. With some buffing, blending and layering, the matte shades are just as pigmented and are super blendable too, so please don't be put off - I adore these matte shades!

I highly recommend this eyeshadow palette. The matte shades are buttery and smooth - perfect for transitioning and the metallic shimmers are perfect for packing, especially in the centre of the lid. I honestly cannot recommend this palette enough, it's perfect in every sense of the word and I adore it with all of my heart. For under £20, this palette is a total steal and won't break the bank AT ALL!

Over the next few days/weeks I shall be doing a tutorial with this gorgeous palette over on my YouTube Channel, which you can find here. (Be sure to hit subscribe!) Keep an eye on my channel for this gorgeous and super easy tutorial!

Let me know what you think of this review. Will you be purchasing this? Have you already got this? Do you like Morphe products?

  1. I'm so obsessed with Urban Decay, but the 5th swatch on your arm (that sparkly purple!) is SO gorgeous!
